Applist Rule and Security Environment (Advanced)

For connections that target Qlik Sense on Windows servers, two settings are available that impact the applications visible in the Applist. In the connection dialog, enable "Show Advanced" to expose Applist Rule and Security Environment settings.

Applist Rulecontrols the path used to filter the apps available in the connection. If unsure, leave as "App".

•Appshow all Apps authorized to the connection user.

•Streamfirst get all streams authorized to the connection user, then show authorized Apps in those streams.

•Ownershow Apps owned by the connection userid.

Security Environment is the Qlk Security Rule "Context" value used to evaluate the security rule. If unsure, leave as "Hub".
