Logs
Daily & Error Logs
Logs are written to the location specified in the Configuration dialog "Log Folder" setting.
Daily detailed logs are named:
qsda-service.``YYYY-MM-DD``.log
qsda-ui.``YYYY-MM-DD``.log
Daily Error logs are named:
qsda-service-errorlog.log
qsda-ui-errorlog.log
The Error logs contains a subset of critical messages form the daily logs. The log maintains about 60MB of messages. Messages older than this are deleted.
You can view the contents of the Error Logs from the menu Admin > Error Log
Audit Logs
Monthly Logs are written to the location specified in the Configuration dialog "Log Folder" setting. Audit logs are named:
qsda-service-audit-``YYYYMM``.log
qsda-ui-audit-``YYYYMM``.log
Logging Level
Logging may be adjusted to record more detailed information useful in diagnosing a problem. For normal operation, you should use the default level of "Info".
Gathering Logs
The most recent logfiles can be gathered in a zip archive using menu Admin > Service Status > Support Files.
